DP 9.52 Plug-in issues with OS MOJAVE

Post by Les Hurdle »

Upgraded to Mojave......... all went well until I tried to change a plug-in or e.g shift from Spire to Serum.
No matter what, DP crashed.
MOTU insist it is an OX issue....... what might be the answer?

Motu might be right. Did you reboot? If not, do so and see if you still have a problem.

Try a Safe Boot by holding down the Shift key on startup. Log into your User account when you see the screen. Wait till you see your s=desktop icons rebuilt. This can take 15 minutes or longer—be patient. Reboot normally and see if you still have a problem. This rebuilds paths and fixes generic alias icons as well as resets caches to default.

If that doesn't do it, reinstall these plugins and reboot.

Hi Mike Many thanks

Did all you suggested before posting except re-install the plug-ins........ far too many ;-))

MOTU suggest the issue is OS M prefs....... no idea what they might be though?
