Help with MIDI editing issue please

Post by sloiselle »

Hi folks, I'm trying to do a simple edit in the MDI editor (DP9.52 on an iMac), and I obviously have some settings not made correctly. I have tried reading in the manual on the various MIDI editing pages but have so far not had any luck. The issue is that I copy a few notes, paste them in somewhere else but when I do, it erases other notes in a way that it does not seem like it should. I uploaded a very short vid showing this to Youtube, I'll attempt to embed or link it here:

Well, that didn't work, so here is the link just pasted in: https://youtu.be/blmLa8FXOCA

Thanks, Scott

Try Merge instead of Paste.
