Re: DP 9.51 sluggish!!!
Buy a computer with more CPU, a better GPU and a lot more memory?
Now that I run DP 9.51 on a 12-core 3.33gHz MacPro with 32Gb of RAM, an ATI Radeon GPU with a gig of on-board memory, I cannot even imagine trying to make music on a laptop. They're great in the field, but I just can't get my head around trying to run a current Mac OSX and DP on a quad-core i7 and 8 gigs of RAM. It's going to be swapping stuff in and out of RAM continually.

Re: DP 9.51 sluggish!!!
Im using this computer for backing tracks for live performance. I guess DP8 takes less horsepower since it worked fine with DP8 and OSx 10.5.
