VCA faders?
Hi everyone,
I did a quick search and couldn't find anything, but is there any mention of VCAs coming to DP anytime soon?
Cheers guys.

Re: VCA faders?
This might be a stupid question but why do you need VCA's? Couldn't you just use an aux track or just group whatever channels you normally would run to a vca? I really don't understand or see any benefit in using them.
My thoughts,

I do not know about when they might come to DP, but I have them in Samplitude.
The folks at Magix wrote a pretty nice article about what they are and why you would find them useful here:

Re: VCA faders?
Definitely see the use of them, and I would expect to see them in the next full number upgrade to DPX.
I won't cry or anything if they aren't there, but I don't have dozens of sends usually going when I want to take the over all volume down of the drum tracks etc. some do so...

M2 Studio Ultra, RME Babyface FS, Slate Raven Mti2, NI SL88 MKII, Linnstrument, MPC Live II, Launchpad MK3. Hundreds of plug ins.

If there is no automation in the tracks, display the tracks you want to scale in the mixer, hold down the W key and move a fader. All visible faders move together.
If you have automation in the track, select all and choose Change Continuous Data from the Region menu.
