Issue with Click

Post by LittleJJ »

I have a silly problem I've had for years with various versions of DP. Every time I instantiate a new project I have to set up the basic click parameters anew. DP never remembers what sounds I want to play for a metronome or where to route the click (to audio). What am I missing?

In the File Menu, look for "Save as Template..."

Then you'll have a check box to say "Use as default New Template".

It's always a good idea to tweak a file (or even use a known project) to get everything you might always want to start out with in terms of tracks, connections, preferences, etc. and save it as your new default.

Note that some preferences are global anyway, and some are per project. The ones that are per project are especially nice to set in your new default.
