Odd DP8 video bug

Post by Lawson. »

I'm encountering a problem I've never had before.

Basically, when I scrub through a project looking for hit points (be it with markers or the transport), the film doesn't stay in sync. Going forward, it will hit at (lets say 00:03:10), but scrubbing back at 00:03:10 it will still show the latter image. I have to go back and go forward again to see the proper spot. This happens at like about a 5 frame difference or less; if it's more it usually resets correctly.

This is a total pain in the butt while spotting, and has never happened before. The film is at 25FPS and I've set up DP at that as well.

I can do record my screen if you guys want for better diagnostics.

Would really appreciate some help on this as I have a few projects that all require proper marker placement going on right now.

Thanks!
