Exactly. He made an absolute and sweeping generalization that was demonstrably incorrect. The float mode bug only affected a couple of my 32 bit plugs, however. And, SoundRadix has indeed fixed it, although there is a small quirk I found that I need to report to them.Phil O wrote:The one error the OP made: "Bottom line...You can't run any converted 32bit plugins on the DP9 in 64bit mode~"

Yes, Mike, all is fine here with Vinyl 1.73, DP9.01, OS 10.10.5 and 32Lives1.08. Even DP9 floating plug window is solid crash-proof, now.mikehalloran wrote:You get Vinyl to work? It did and then after a recent upgrade to 1.07 it wouldn't anymore. I just updated to 1.08 and still, 32Lives doesn't see it.

Re: DP9 doesn't work with 32 Lives~ Bug
I asked 32Lives what the issue could be and the answer I got showed they hadn't a clue – not that I hadn't tried everything already and didn't try it again.daniel.sneed wrote:Yes, Mike, all is fine here with Vinyl 1.73, DP9.01, OS 10.10.5 and 32Lives1.08. I did notice that I had tried to remove Vinyl completely yet, when I reinstalled, it didn't to ask to re-authorize. It works fine as an AU in DP 7.24 and as a MAS plugin in DP 8 32bit. OK...
I have a feeling that, if I can remove it completely to the point where it asks for my serial number again, it might show up in 32Lives. In the mean time, the VST shows up in my JBridge folder but not in DP. Same issue? I don't know.
I have asked Izotope to send me instructions for the complete removal of Vinyl but have not heard back. I suppose that I could trash all Izotope related files and reinstall everything but that seems a little drastic just to use a fun little freebie, not to mention the time that it takes.

Re: DP9 doesn't work with 32 Lives~ Bug
Had so many problems with 32 lives, particularly with Arturia Analog Factory. That being said, I'm on DP 8.07, and most of the problems I"m having are to do with inablility to move windows, glitchy graphics, unresponsiveness.
To their credit, their support has been superb, and they've basically said that DP uses a different windows/plug-in structure to Logic and most other DAWS, and that with the introduction of Floating windowns in Dp9 (is that the right phrase?) things have improved a bit.
