So...
I tried to update both my Clockworks and Digital Performer software and it was a total diaster. First, the Clockworks installed fine, but when I went to install DP it got half way through and gave me a weird message about "an unexpected error..." and then just froze needing a force quit. I tried again to no avail. Finally I redownloaded it, used the uninstall option and then gave it another try. Both updaters seemed to work this time, but when I opened up a file all my MIDI tracks showed up in italics and none of my virtual instruments (BATTERY2 and Absynth3) loaded. I didn't have time to mess with it, but man what a bumpy update.
One clue could be that when I open Audio MIDI Setup my interface (micro express) is grayed out. I've tried power cycling that but it didn't help.
