Hi -
Not sure if this is the right forum, but I'll give it a shot.
I would like to know if anyone has successfully used this configuration (or close to it) without any problems.
I plan on using a firewire hard drive for storage of my music files.
Does the Imac G5 have enough gas to lay out say 20 tracks with maybe 10-15 plug-ins?
I want to make sure I can achieve this with no problems before I add the final pieces I need.
I would like to start with 2 828's and maybe add a 3rd down the line, running off a firewire hub. Will a hub cause problems?
Any potential problems I might encounter, or helpful suggestions to offer?
(Besides a dual G5)
Thanks
Imac 1.8 G5, Tiger 10.4.3, DP 4.6, 828
