I have DP authorized on an iMac and a MBP. The limit is apparently two authorizations.
I want to install and authorize it on a different partition on the iMac, and once it is working, remove it from the first partition. I have to keep this first partition working, so I'll have to de-authorize the MBP. I'll want to authorize the MBP again when all is done.
The question: what happens when you go to authorize a third installation? I don't see anywhere in DP to de-authorize it first. Are we on the honour system here? Or is there a way to de-authorize?

Re: De-Authorizing DP
As I understand it, the license manager deauthorizes your older installs when you authorize it again.
You shouldn't have any problem unless you try to run multiple copies simultaneously.

Re: De-Authorizing DP
mikehalloran is right.
Your oldest authorized system will automatically be de-authorized, as soon as you authorize DP on a third system.
So if you have three systems, your licenses just "cycle" through them.

Thanks. So I'll have to authorize by main setup again because that was the first one I installed. And I gather that nothing happens to old installs if you're off line.
