sorta OT - DP 7.24 recording THR10C via USB - SOLVED
Apologies in advance as this is more about the THR10C than DP. I'm trying to record a Yamaha THR10C guitar amp via its USB output into DP 7.24. The THR USB is not class compliant and requires a Steinberg driver. Once the driver is installed the THR10C appears in DP's audio inputs as THR10C-1 mono track and THR10C-2-3 stereo track. It works, but the problem is the THR10C's USB output level is very weak. DP's audio input meter barely registers. The only way I've found to get a half decent level is to select one of the higher gain models and then crank the Master and Gain. But if I want a clean sound the USB level is way too low. Has anybody else experienced this or have any advice?

I'm pleased to report I'm an idiot. The THR10 USB outputs two stereo pairs--a processed pair and a DI pair. I was looking at the THR10's direct outs, which are very low level. Also, in DP I had to click new stereo bundle to reveal both THR pairs, which I hadn't done. Operator error, as usual.
