I've been trying, unsuccessfully, to install Audio Desk on my new MacBook Pro with Mavericks.
When it comes to registering Audio Desk, I type my name and serial number into the box, click OK and immediately a new blank box pops up. No matter how many times I re-enter my name and serial into the boxes and click OK a new blank box pops up.
So in effect I'm unable to install Audio Desk.
Anyone else experienced this?

Re: Audio Desk fails to authorise on Mavericks
I don't know if Audio Desk is currently approved for Mavericks. Definitely sounds like getting up early and calling Tech Support is a good bet. I'm sure Audio Desk was released BEFORE Mavericks so it might not be able to work.reddog wrote:I've been trying, unsuccessfully, to install Audio Desk on my new MacBook Pro with Mavericks.

Re: Audio Desk fails to authorise on Mavericks
There are three versions of AudioDesk. AudioDesk 2 is a paid upgrade from AD1 if it wasn't bundled with your hardware. AudioDesk 3 is a no charge upgrade from any version of AD2.
It looks like the last version of AD3 is 3.2.1 released on 8/9/2011. If that's your version, file a Tech Link with MOTU Support and see if they can let you know when to expect an update. If that's not your version, download and try it out.
Any version of AudioDesk has an upgrade path to Digital Performer. Just sayin... Sometimes resellers like Sweetwater have the great price on these (clicking through the banner helps this site a little). I have no intere$t in this. Again, if you are looking for an excuse to upgrade...

Re: Audio Desk fails to authorise on Mavericks
Thanks for your replies guys.
I have the latest version of AudioDesk. I use Logic Pro for most of my music stuff but I like to use AudioDesk to record directly from my UltraLite from time to time.
I have contacted the tech people. It would be nice if Motu updated their software to be compatible with the latest Macs and OS. I would also love to have a 64bit version Of MX4.

They're working on it. I'm sure they have understandably been giving priority to DP in the recent months as that's their flagship DAW.
