Bouncing to disc in DP8

Post by bentonQ »

So is there no way to set an in out point for a bounce to disc except for selecting a items to be bounced in the track window? This can't be so can it?

Not sure what you mean? I usually designate a time range for a bounce. What other way would you do it?

If you do not set a range, BTD doesn't work as far as I have seen.

That's how I understand it. I usually save a selection range first so I can use it again. Then I select all and then load the selection range and do the bounce.

I usually set a marker labelled *start*, and another *end*.
Clicking the first above conductor track will select everything in-between.
If any markers between them, just extend selection thru shift+click.

That's exactly the way I do it, too. I very much appreciate the Saved Times feature.

Same here with the markers. Because it's a delicate thing to get the exact points where I want to stop and start, I set markers. Then I select the tracks. This makes it easy to revisit the sequence and BTD again and again.

Funny! I'm never happy with first bounces, too.
Will always do many. Sort of superstition sometimes...
