Is audio patch thru with effects working for you in 8.05?

Post by zandurian »

Because here it doesn't seem to be working. I have rarely used the feature but it seemed like all I had to do was insert the plug and if the track was armed to record and if I had patch thru audio enabled it automatically output the effected signal live.

I have the raw input signal loud and clear - and the DP mixer controls the volume of that output etc - just no effect. If I hit record and rewind/play the track back the effects work perfectly.

I went to the manual but it only confirmed that this is the way it's supposed to work. I tried clicking the track speaker icon, no change.

Any ideas?

Go to:

Setup menu>Configure Audio System>Input Monitoring Mode...

Check the box to monitor record-enabled tracks through effects.

Ok now?
