Missing paraEQ

Since I have updated to Tiger and made a completely new installation of dp 4.6 my parametric EQ doesn‘t show up in the mixing console. It is in the plug ins folder and dp also shows "loading paraEQ" on startup, but I can not choose in the inserts. Also the Masterworks EQ only shows up as <stereo>.
Has anybody had the same troubles? My (German) support, which is normaly very good also doesen‘t know the reason. We trashed the preferences, newly installed the 4.6 update, but now I am finished with my ideas...
please help us!

I have the same problem with the paraeq bundle and masterworks eq. Don't know what's wrong. Can't find the problem either. One time it was all fine but the next day everything dissapeared again. Anyone, ideas

Hello.
I had the same trouble here.
I have used this application - FONT FINAGLER 0.5.3 - it cleans the fonts cache.

I think there is a corruption on the fonts that bug the parar eq plugs.

Hi,

exactly the same trouble here : from one day to another, after upgrading to 6.1, the equaliser & Para Eq plugs disapear... But still present in the plug folder. I try to trash pref, repair perm, etc. Finaly had to re-install DP to fix it. No trouble since.

Tried to reinstall DP. Used the fontcache cleaner. Didn't work. The Eq's are still missing. I'm open to other suggestions.

had the same problem, tried to reinstall everything and didn't solve the problem.
But I found a trick, it seems that DP has a bug with the Languaje preferences of the machine, I found this one 'cause my powerbook was in Spanish, and I changed the International preferences to English and restarted the powerbook, I see everything with 4.5 or 4.6, menus, Lost plugins...., etc...
Changed again the international preferences to Spanish and the menus are ok,
give it a try, hope this helps

If the problem comes again, do the same trick, it happened again to me, seems like 10.4.4 don't corrupt the preferences, by now!
