I am new to DP and Mac. I tried searching for an answer but couldn't find anything close. I am using DP8 with an iMac 27, 10.8.5, 3.4Ghz Intel Core i7, with 8 gig RAM.
When I originally set this up, I was using a Lexicon Omega (that I used with my windows system) and had crashing issues in DP. I recently upgraded to a Track 16. The crashes have stopped, however I am having difficulty with the MIDI. Audio works great.
I have tried using K5, Alicia's Keys, and Model 12 all with the same results. I can trigger the soft synths using the software triggers perfectly. When I trigger using my keyboard (Casio WK-3200, local off) through the Track 16 MIDI, the notes don't sound every time I play the key, hitting the same key triggers different pitches, and the notes get stuck on. This keyboard does not have a USB. I didn't have this issue when using the Omega.
The only other issue is that I have to use the wall wart when using Fire Wire for the Track 16. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Bill
