What 3 things about DP 8 you love the most?

Post by Tesionman »

Thought I'd do the opposite of the other thread. 8)

1 - The Tracks Overview window.
2 - Track Folders.
3 - The ability for multiple mixes and sequences.

Of course theres more.

cheers

To tell you the truth, the simple act of opening DP always gives me a warm feeling. My template is like a white canvas that begs to be filled 8)

Some of my favorites are:
- Chunks in all their flavours, and the complexity of signal flow that they allow
- Adjust/Record Beats
- Its Solo mode feature
- Mixer takes
- Audio tracks with Input Monitoring
- The ridiculously well implemented commands window (how you can assign almost any command to your favorite keystrokes)
- The reshape tool and all its flavours. MIDI editing rocks!

Sorry I couldn't stick to only 3!

Nice! I'm with you 100%. And I'm still on 7.24. I hope I don't get kicked out of here! :)

1. It does what it says it does.
2. No crashes for well over a year.
3. Motunation.

It's easy to take Motunation for granted after a while, but makes huge difference to the overall experience, more so than most software features. Without it, I'd probably move to Logic.
