My theory is that Apple takes over the MIDI buffer and doesn't let go to any app. That would give GB and LGC an advantage. Maybe I'm being too cynical, but if anyone knows definitiely about this stuff and cares to chime in, I'm all ears.

I use GarageBand and MainStage, both infrequently, and have never encountered these anomalies. I'm inclined to believe that the Apogee drivers are the culprit.

It would seem odd that GB would be to blame. I just report the news, I don't interpret it... too much. :rofl:
