Moving DP to a different drive

Post by bongo_john_uk »

I have had to put a new drive in my machine and install mountain lion. I was using snow leopard and still using DP 6.03.

I discovered if I copied DP6.03 to my new drive it won't run without authorising but authorising fails using the key in my manual (maybe due to mountain lion?).

However, if I put the old system drive in the machine, DP runs fine from the old drive under mountain lion, so I know it should work.

I basically, need to reopen some unfinished music projects to continue where I left off.

How can I move DP from old to new drive? For now I created a sym link from new applications folder to the old drive, but it seems excessive to use a whole drive just for one app!

How can I move DP 6 to a different drive?
Mac Pro 12 core 3 GHz, Motu Ultralite, DP9.1, Mac OS X 10.10.5 64GB Ram.
