Hello.
Two minutes seem like an ETERNITY when under stress and when the client needs his stuff NOW.
I've pulled a couple of all-nighters, and I think I've wasted at least more than 2 hours by just adding this waiting time together.
Every time I connect or disconnect from a VE Pro server by disabling a V-Rack, I see the spinning wheel for even longer some times. I need to do this quite often to manage my G'5's resources, and in the long term it is just too many minutes wasted waiting.
Also, DP is taking equally long to quit when connected to VE Pro.
Saving times are impossible too, but at least those can be improved by using the Decouple command.
This seems to get worse with bigger projects.
Is this normal for you guys? Anyone else experiencing this?
Thanks!

Re: DP 7.24 taking up to 3 minutes to disconnect from VE Pro
For me, problems with this cleared up in DP8. It connected about 5x faster.
I timed my setup out with 4 instances of VEP = about 45 seconds to connect.
DP8 = about 15 seconds.
Things that trip up my VEP connections are things like - is wifi enabled? are the computers connected directly as opposed to going through routers with printers and things..
Also, do you have Static IP's set?
Hard to say what is causing your problems, but hope maybe this helps a little?
Best,
Marc
