I have a two channels sound card (Audiofire2) and thus Analog 1 and Analog 2 in DP. Analog 1 gets the left input signal and Analog 2 the right one.
When panning the output signal from the Mackie mixer to the left I get a satisfactory recording level. If I then turn the knob to the right the level is much lover as well in the Audio Monitor as in the recorded track. The Mackie's levels are identical left and right. The track levels in the Mixing Window are at 0.00 in both tracks.
What am I doing wrong? Or is there something wrong with my Audiofire2 sound card? It's the first time I'm using multi-track recording so I don't know if it always has been like that.
Same input levels but different recording levels

Re: Same input levels but different recording levels
I've located the problem. One of the cables is damaged, I have to solder it. Thank god it was that simple
