MIDI edit and audition

Post by ironchef_marc »

Is it just me but it seems like there is an annoying little bug where you drag a note in the MIDI edit window with audition on and when you hear the note you want and drop it and DP often puts it one semitone up or down!?
I've never had a problem with that but I swear it's different in 4.6. It does it in Quickscribe too. Anyone can confirm that problem?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one! But yeah what an annoyance that bugger is. It's been about 3 months since the last release there should be a ptach coming out soon. I will report this one eventhough it must have been reported severeal times by now.

Add me to the list. I thought I was going to go nuts the other night. I finally had to drop the note at the top of the space where I wanted to place it.

I must add, however, that I got feeling for the reason of this bug.
It might have got something to to with the higher resolution in the MIDI editor: Did you guys notice, that in 4.6 now, you're able to zoom in the vertical axis much more than before? This, I find very convenient... The fact that the notes can be viewed much thicker now are such a relief for my bad eyes  ... so maybe that's the trade-in.

I might be wrong on this, but it seems to me this is where the bug stems from.

cheers,
ingmar
