hi guys, just wondered is it possible to use both an 828 mk3 (firewire) and a 24 i/o in DP8 on windows 7?
thanks in advance!

Re: 828 mk3 and 24 i/o
Each uses a different driver for interacting with the system. The one is motufwa.sys (or perhaps motufwa64.sys or similar on 64 bit system) - and the other is audiowire driver and the card driver, with different names that I can't recall at the moment.
So to answer your question, I can't say factually, but it should all work well with each separate driver installed for each (even if it's the same installer package that installs simultaneously for both.)

Re: 828 mk3 and 24 i/o
hi thx for replying
thats what i was hoping like when i use my 828mk3 and the onboard sound. Basically what i want to do is use the 828mk3 for sending and returning through outboard gear, compressors,eq's etc and keep the 24 i/o for recording drums, guitars, vocals through. thanks for the reply
