How to do some things in the DP ?
Hello!
Sorry for my English!
1. Tell me please, is there a way to drag End drop MIDI region from DP, as MIDI file, or it can be done only through exports? I would like to drag End drop MIDI region directly in VI ...
2. How to select the entire region before the end sequence and do not pull the mouse to the end of the sequence?
Thank you!

Re: How to do some things in the DP ?
There are no "MIDI regions" in DP, as there are in Pro Tools and some other DAWs. A MIDI track is all one big long event list from beginning to end of sequence. If by "region" you mean "selection", then there is a way to select a portion of a track:
In the MIDI edit window:
- double tap the "I" key to use the I-beam selection tool.
- click before the first MIDI event you would like to select.
- scroll to the end of the area you'd like to select
- shift-click after the last MIDI event you want to select
You should now have an entire section of the sequence selected.
Better yet, you can often just do this from the tracklist view, though you might need to zoom in on the very ends to make sure you don't select too much/too little.
As for drag and dropping MIDI data out of DP, that isn't possible. You'll have to export to MIDI files. I recommend making a copy of a sequence, doing some cleanup duty to remove blank spaces at the beginning and any unwanted tracks, and exporting to a .mid file. I forget whether you can drag and drop a MIDI file into a DP project, that may be possible. But you can certainly import a MIDI file from the File menu.

Re: How to do some things in the DP ?
Thanks Eric for the detailed answer!
In the MIDI editor is certainly useful,
But I was referring to the window Tracks and when I choose a piece of the party in the Tracks,
then select any part of the lot and I need to trace the mouse to the end of the party ...
And if my track is long, you have to reach to the end sequence to choose the lot ... How (can be a combination of keys) to select the party to an end?
Perhaps a little bit confused, sorry ... Sorry, but my English is bad ...

If you make a selection in the Tracks window, you can command-drag that selection to the desktop to create a MIDI file. You can then drag that to other apps.

Thanks NazRat !
MIDI file to the desktop well tolerated, but in a virtual instrument ...DP crash (((
But if the first transfer MIDI file to the desktop, and then in a virtual instrument ... it works well! Thank you!

The default for this is Option-Shift-Return "Grow Selection to End." See if that works for you.
Most times, I just Select All (Command-A), then click on the track I want and hit the right arrow and then the left arrow to collapse the selection.
If you open the Commands window and type "End" in the search box, it will bring up all kinds of different commands that you may find useful.

Well, finally!)
I think that Option-Shift-Return is what I need!
Thank you!
