The faders should be silver, or red or something other than black. When selecting white txt you get the OSX system highlight color, and any usable highlight color makes things unreadable. It's a nice theme with potential, but it needs to be refined.

But it's good on my eyes. Color and how it all interacts for the GUI experience is so important.
I am not trying to take business away from Andy's excellent themes - but you can easily customise colours and faders yourself to get what you want. If you want different faders in None More Black, then copy the ones from Hardware and paste them over whats already there. So duplicate None More Black and call it something different, open up the package contents of the Hardware theme, copy the faders from the Resources folder and paste them in the Resources folder of your revised None More Black theme. Simples - you have different faders.

I do this all the time - I take bits I like from some themes and add them to others, change the colours (in Preview) - so you get what you want. This is simple stuff but its all about your own choices. Andy's themes are great - but even he may not do the colours you want. As long as you make a duplicate of the Theme with a different name - experiment. The Style.xml file is a bit more specialist but I am a dab hand now at changing other colours and text colours. I have even moved on to having photos as backgrounds to some of the screens in DP themes. That is the beauty of DP's customisation - Andy opened this up for everyone and he deserves our (and Motu's) thanks.

Hey Guitar Gaz. Yeah I know about the resources in the Contents folder. I do that all the time too. On the side I customize interfaces for a small app developer. I was just commenting on the potential for the None More Black theme.

But you make a good point for people who don't know about this and want to do some minor surgery.

Agreed 100%, looks so much better than the original! I'm buying that one as soon as it comes out!
Personal preference? I would love to see a flat dark theme.
Also, the main thing I liked about Logic 4 was the mellow army green tones, which Apple abandoned when they bought it.... Some retro 40's army faded grey green GUI would be awesome.
M2 Studio Ultra, RME Babyface FS, Slate Raven Mti2, NI SL88 MKII, Linnstrument, MPC Live II, Launchpad MK3. Hundreds of plug ins.

It's been king of the darker themes since you first made it, but I agree it's even getting better. I like the new "plastic" automation buttons. Those are nice, and they look good in Oxidized, too.

I looked at the new pictures of Simple, too, and I'm amazed that it looks like something I could use. I'm not fond of the light interfaces, especially those of gray, but Simple looks great.

Excited about Gotham. That is my go-to theme, with Oxidized a close 2nd, although currently I'm excited about Oxidized, and am using it full time.

Wow! This is great work. I don't know why MOTU doesn't just buy your services outright.

Warmer has been updated to version 4. Gotham is forcing me to revisit and make sure all the themes are at the same level of quality.

By the way, I just wanted to voice my support for the new Gotham. It's really a new theme; a whole different color and look from the old Gotham (which you could actually reissue with the same improvements and old color, if you desired), but I'm very much enjoying the new color. It's a very professional look.
