DP8 and Quickeys oddity

Post by Tripi »

Maybe some of the other quickey users here can scratch their heads with me on this one. I recently updated my studio computer to Mountain Lion. Everything still works, but my trusty Logitech Wheel Man mouse is not recognized by the Logitech control panel anymore. Not a big deal, because the mouse still works... I just can't customize the buttons. So, I used quickeys to assign the middle button as a double click of the left button. It works as expected in every program on my computer... except DP. When I trigger it in DP, it acts just like a single right click. For the life of me, I can't find any reason why this would be the behavior. Maybe someone else has had a similar experience?

thanks!

No, but I am using Steermouse and it's the best $20 I've spent. Lots of custom configurations for all sorts of uses and ML friendly! QK is not technically approved for ML, so you won't get much in the way of support from Startley. But you can solve you problem and probably do a lot more with your mouse if you want to try a different driver.
