896hd output question

I have an 896 HD which I am using to go to the optical ins of my PT system. When I open Cuemix to assign the analog ins to ADAT outs, it only shows me ADAT outs 1 through 4. Not sure what is going on. Would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance for the help.

does cuemix even work with the 896HD? I don't think it does but I'm not sure.....

It does (at least it recognizes the device and I can program the 896 with it) and the first time I used it it showed me 8 ADAT outs. Now only 4. Hence my bewilderment. Needless to say, losing four ins to PT is a limitation.

you may have to enable both adat out in Motu Audio Setup ?

Are you using 96KHz? It should only work with 4 channels through ADAT if so.

Actually using 8.2, but it's the same answer. It came to me on the way home from the gig last night. Should have known. Thanks.
