I'm just recently switched to DP8 from Logic, and I'm having a bit of trouble. I've checked the behemoth of a manual and can't seem to find my solution, so I'll just explain what I need to do and hopefully someone can help me!
Essentially, my setup used to be a Korg keyboard as my audio input, connected via USB. My output would be the Built-In. And my MIDI input and output would be again, to the Korg keyboard.
My issue that I'm having is that I can't for the life of me seem to setup any MIDI input other than the on-screen keyboard. Also, I'm having a bit of trouble seperating my input and output audio devices.
Can somebody please help me out?

Re: Help! Setting DP Inputs and Outputs
It is easy, in the small book "Getting started" read chapter 3 for MIDI and 4 for audio.
To set the audio, go to the drop down menu in DP and click on "set up" go to "configure audio system, "then Configure audio driver", pick "internal audio" or what you like. You can set your buffer size here as well.
To set up MIDI go to the drop down menu in DP and to "set up", then go to "open audio MIDI set up" if it comes up as audio click the drop down menu "window" in the audio MIDI utility and select MIDI. You wire up your set up here.
You can also set up audio in the audio MIDI utility.
