I`ve worked a long time with nearly all synths - software and hardware. Regarding your question: M5v3 ist really one of the best synth/samplers because of the multiple sound engines. I posted a topic on our new soundpack a few days ago.. just have a look and listen to the audio and video demos.
The soundpack XPANDER SEQUENCES uses M5v3 sound engines- NO SAMPLES. It has a special sound which was intended, but with M5 you can realize any sound. I tested Zebra, Diva and sure they sound great. But M5 expands the programming capabilities because of more sound engines and at a very low! CPU level.

I would get Zebra as well, can't knock that synth, and it's also light on the CPU.
Massive is cool, but Zebra is far more unique.
I'm waiting to see what repairing my Moog is going to cost, but Machfive 3 is definitely the next Sampler/synth I buy.
