IK Sampletank,Sampletron &SonikSynth problem? DP8 32bit

I decided to go back into DP8 32bit mode and noticed I couldn't find AU versions of Sampletank & Soniksynth
& Sampletron
They showed up as VST though.
Called Motu tech support had me trash plug cache,re-examine,1st relaunch DP hung at examining Sampletank so after 20 minutes frozen I forcequit and then r
relaunched DP & same thing.
Next I dl'ed the plugs from IK reinstalled launched DP again no AU exam and still no show.
I guess I can look again and see if they'll work as VST but I never used or installed that way,so I'm baffled.
I also wonder if the IK plugs got corrupted with the DP8 update but my IK effects all seem OK(Amplitude,CSR TR3 etc....) it's only Sampletank,Sonicsynth & Sampletron I can't get working.
Zed or any other IK user here is there a procedure I'm missing that I should be trying?
I set up a support ticket w/tech @IK
I don't use these often so I don't know what I might be doing wrong to get these working.

I traded emails with the jBridgeM developer on this. I gave him a number crash reports for these IKM VIs, and for Philharmonik. He traced the errors to the plugins, and noted that the errors also happened in DP 8 with the 32 bit versions without his bridging application being involved. I ask him if the problem was DP8 or IKM, and he said he was pretty sure IKM was the cause. He has notified them and is waiting for a reply.

I was able to load SampleTank 2 in DP 8/64 bit using jBridgeM.

Thanks Bayswater for the info,I'm having trouble launching DP in either mode now!
I'm gonna try nuking the 3 IK offenders,lol
I guess pull out the component files and see if this solves the startup issues in 32 bit mode.
IK seems to have lost too much momentum,at least the effects like Amplitube,TR3 and CSR still work.
But weird AU issues for me with these 3 plugs.

Problem solved for now,pulled the files out of the component folder and will do without until I guess IK fixes with ST3 etc.... 2013

I'm not sure what's going on with your setup but I'm using OSX 10.8.2 with DP 8 (64 bit) and jBridgeM and I am able to load all the IK Multimedia VI's. I just opened a new project and loaded Philharmonik, SonikSynth, SampleTank 2 XL, SampleTron and SampleMoog and they all work fine. I did experience an error when I tried to load SampleTank 2 and after I loaded the others I deleted that track and added it again and it worked fine. They all load patches and play and respond properly.

Make sure you have the menu set for "Dirty close" and that "run in existing auxhost" is turned off.

I'm sorry you are having trouble but I can report I've got them working at this time.

Thanks for the info.
I'm trying to use in 32bit,not with JBridge,I might try as VSTs to see if this format of IK plugs might work better with DP8,maybe I'll try JBridge but for the moment I want to avoid bridging.

I initially had some problems because I always removed VST versions as DP couldn't access them so they seemed pointless. I reinstalled the plugs and purchased jBridgeM and it took a few jumps through hoops but now they are working fine. I still have a couple of 32 bit VI's I haven't been able to get "bridged" and I may have to give up on them but they are not worth staying in 32 bit for.

Yeah I've been in 64bit most of the time,I went back into 32bit for UAD stuff.
The IK VI's which I rarely use were tried more out of curiosity when I noticed they weren't showing up,rather than actual necessity
I'd prefer being totally in 64bit and avoid bridging,the UAD is my biggest lure to boot in 32bit,I hope the update soon!

Interesting. Exactly what versions of the VIs are you using? Are they the most recent from the IKM sit?

Maybe you could send some screen shots or log reports to the author. I have sent the crash logs from the DP VST plugin validation step to the author. He says the VIs are indentified in the logs as the cause of the crash.

I can't solve the problem by using the settings you recommend, because I don't get past the VST validation scan done by DP.

I had to pull the component files after dl'ing the latest versions yesterday.
For me using 10.68 in my system these are unusable.

On my system, SampleTron version 1.02 AU (the latest) doesn't show the its GUI and present a white/blank window when first instantiated in DP 8 (32 bit). A mouse click anywhere in the window bring backthe GUI and the VI works normally after that.

G-Froce Oddity 1.21 AU is doing the same.

I've got all on my UAD plugs running with jBridgeM. When I load a older track with UAD plugs on some of the tracks I have to replace the UAD version with the bridged version and it doesn't recall any of the settings. The only 32 bit plugs I haven't been able to use are those connected to an "elicense" security dongle. There's just two, virtual guitarist 2 and Waldorf ppg 2. I can make it without those two if I have to. (that sounds like an awful lot of to/two's)
