Hello,
we noticed that when we crop a sound file in MF3 it destroys the rest of the sound file in the soundbites. I.E, if we have a 2 minutes sound file and crop it to only a 10 second sample, then it replace the 2 minute sound file by the 10 second sample in destructive manner in the DP soundbite window (and in the AUDIO FILE folder).
DP warn us if we want to save the new sample but there is no save as options, so it's replace it loosing for ever the rest of the sound file. We tried "save as with sample" option from the Save menu but it still replace the original sound file.
Any views on that situation, any options to go around this?
thanks
louis

Re: destructive crop?
did you check the top left right corner of the oscillator panel in M5 ?
There is some options to save as a sample as far as I remember.
or just move the start/stop cursor and do not crop the sample.
