Stepline Event Processor

Post by Jaci82 »

Is it possible to use multiple stepline processors, each for a single keygroup? I would like to use it as an e.g. eight part multitrack sequencer so that i could apply each drum sound of a keygroup to a dedicated stepline. When trying to create this example in M5 only one is active and overules the other steplines..

Put each Keygroup in a dedicated Layer then put the stepline processor on the Layer level in the Event tab. You can then restrict the Layer range according to the Keygroup range in the Tree view

A dedicated drum step sequencer scripts would be better suited though.
I've done one some time ago, very simple but works ok.

Here it is

Save it in a file with a .lua extension.

Hope this helps.

You could copy the drums to a new layer and then put a different step sequence on each layer. Use lyer rules to switch between layers.
