Flughäfen Symphonette

Post by bomber »

My latest project, "Flughäfen Symphonette", can be found here...

http://www.reverbnation.com/kevinlkerr

It's a hodgepodge of late 70's / early 80's influences...
Jean MIchel Jarre, Giorgio Moroder, Brian Eno, Pink Floyd,
Kraftwerk, Ultravox, New Order, Robert Fripp, etc.

For that "old school" approach, I used DP7 on a Mac G5 PPC / Tiger OS system.

Besides some native DP effect plugins, I used a plethora of UAD plugins (Precision Limiter,
Precision Buss Comp, LA-2A, Pultec Pro, Neve 1081, 1176LN, etc.).
There are also a few instances of Audio Ease Speakerphone and Line 6 Pod Farm.

For my VI's...
GForce VSM, Minimonsta, ImpOSCar, and M-Tron Pro.
Rob Papen's Predator.
Kontakt running East West Vapor, Zero-G Nostalgia, and others.

My guitar "toy box" includes various pedals. Notably Tech21 Liverpool & Leeds Character Series, Eventide PitchFactor and Strymon TimeLine.

Enjoy...

I threw together some visuals to the song, "Eurotrash & Business Class"...

I guess you would call this Post-Punk Disco.

Thanks to Abe Laboriel Jr. (via Stylus RMX: Burning Grooves) for the hi hat work!
