I'm getting a KP every time I shut down or restart.
10.6.4 / Mac Pro.
I suspected the Logitech mouse drivers, Ilok drivers and 10.6.4's firewire drivers (the problem seems to get a lot better when I disconnect my RME FF800. But I can't be sure.
This doesn't happen if I boot into my last Mac Pro's hard drive with the same OS and drivers on it.....
Here are the reports anyway if anyone is kind enough to take a look.... https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2502628/sfox_kernelpanics.zip

You know what the problem is. You want an easy fix. That may or may not be possible.
a: I would try a clean install of the OS. Create a new User account - your old info is fine. Update to 10.6.8. Repair Permissions. Restore files and applications from Time Machine.
b: Copy all work product created since you last used that old drive. Clone your old drive to the new one. Restore your recent files.
If that doesn't do it, you are probably looking at doing a clean install but restoring everything manually.

Not sure if this is of any help, but worth a look.

I had the same thing happen on start up. Discovered that booting from my backup clone worked. So I just cloned back to my system drive and everything is fine now.

I've only just done a clean install - new hard drive - manual installations of everything, careful testing along the way. No upgrades or old drivers.
Touch wood, may have stopped this happening after a 2 hour call with Applecare which involved them accessing my mac.......... send me good vibes while I try and catch up on the 2 docco's I was meant to have started last week....
