My original comment was just offering my initial impression of DP8, hoping to hear from someone who had more information. But an unprovoked attack works for me too.

FWIW (perhaps, not much) MOTU's running a full-page ad for DP8 on the back of this month's Elec. Mus.
Hard to think they'd spend that kind of money if "The Release" is not too far off....

Haven't seen the ad yet and have so data to make a judgment, but I bet it also sucks.... useless, the ad for DP 5 was just fine!
