DP8 was released 14 years ago.
Can't tell the exact date, but the review came out in Sound on Sound in May 1998.
Ah, musta been some kinda company takeover, cause back then it was owned by Fostex.
Fostex DP8 Digital Switcher "The secret of the DP8 is simplicity -- there's no data conversion or other clever processing inside." Yup, no new features to figure out or drool over.
So I guess we are actually waiting for DP9 now.
