latest driver corrupts

Post by baribari »

I am going to have to try and run down previous versions of the MOTO audio and MIDI drivers. The latest (and the one before) will not work on WIn7-64. I did check compatibility mode and it recommended XP SP2 settings. But I have been thru enough for now. By using 64pci-1695.41543 I at least have audio again.

So the question is where do I get a MIDI driver that will work? And what is the latest driver you all have used with Win7-64?

Thanks in advance, Barry

Hi,

MOTU drivers are rock solid, especially the latest and greatest version. The problem is within your system. I recommend a clean install of the latest driver after manually clearing all MOTU stuff on the pc first.

You can search my recent history of posts if you'd like. I made one within the last week or so on how to do that.

Compatibility mode is not necessary at all and should not be used to install the MOTU software or run it.

I have to agree with torrentg. The latest drivers are rock-solid for me too. I'm running them on Windows 7 64-bit and they are great.
