BFD2 Multiple outputs in DP 7.24...?

Post by tcastle »

I've looked around here and at FXpansion and can't find an answer to why I can't get multiple outputs into DP from BFD2.

DP offers me BFD1 tracks "All, Groups, Stereo, Ultra"... Selecting any of theses tries to open BFD1 and doesn't open or see an open BFD2... DP also offers BFD2 tracks in Mono or Stereo. It looks like all the BFD AU and VST plug-in stuff is in the correct place in the library...???

I've done the recommended stuff in the instructions and looked for answers in archived/previous posts. Am I just not seeing the answer?

It's not a major issue since it's possible to do the drum mix from within BFD2 with effects and then return it to DP through the stereo master BFD2 output. But it would be cool to have the additional flexibility.

Thanks!

Have you assigned the routing in the bundles window?

Alternatively, within the BFD2 mixer, you can choose which DP track(s) to output each individual kit piece to. Just set up a DP track for whichever kit piece you want to treat separately. The default output is DP's main out. (I apologise if my terminology is not exact, as I don't have the two programs running as I type this).
