G4 MDD Dual 1.25 NOISY!!!!

i've read a bunch of articles on replacing the fans with quiter ones, but it seems like an awful lot of takin' stuff apart....
we have a G5 dual 1.8 here in my office and it's as quite as a mouse....what's up with that???

anyone have any experience with shuting these things up?

they have a very good silencekit for the mac,
but it‘s a bit expensive
