Regestering M5v3?

Post by FutureLegends »

Hey!

So I just bought the upgrade to M5v3 from the local distributor(hurrah!).
The license is on the iLok and the app opens fine, and I'm now copying the sounds to my hard drive.
Was going to motu.com to register only to find that the page where the serial number is supposed to is torn away. The manual/DVDs were in shrinkwrap so I guess this is something MOTU does with upgrade versions? Question is... How do I go about regestering my copy with MOTU?

Thanks

Ha! I didn't even notice but my inside page is also torn out. I believe I just registered with iLok and the rest took care of itself.

Did you order your update directly from MOTU? Cause then they update your registrations accordingly. I usually do that but shipping was $89.95 or something like that.
Now that I think of it, there might have been something like this when I upgraded to DP7 too... Hmmm... I gotta email MOTU, methinks...

Don't call the tech support line. Call sales. They answer faster and can help in a situation like this.

I'm in Sweden and only have a cell phone with pre paid plan so I won't be calling anyone. A'll try email ;)
It works and all so I'm in no particular hurry... Just good to have it registered in case they release M5v4 sometime soon ;)

I just registered Bpm 1.5 upgrade and Machfive 3 upgrade via customer service email. I attached my receipts and they registered them quickly. My Bpm 1.5 upgrade was a year old and I had brought the upgrades at Australian distributers.
