Lion DP 7.24 just hangs.....

Thoughts?
2.66 Mac Pro, 10.6.5, 16 G RAM, DP 7.22, 6 SATA internal drives (2 RAIDS & 2 singles), Ozone 4, 2 UAD 2 Quad card with most of the plugs, Waves Diamond(V7), V- Series (V6) & SSL4000(V7), PLAY 1.25, EMI TG12413, URS CSPro, Autotune Evo, Scarbee KGB, EWQLSO Platinum Pro XP, Drumagog, BFD2, NI Komplete 7, Breverb, Ivory w/ Italian Grand, USB Plugsound Pro & Synths Anth, Ampeg SVX, Amplitube3 (And Fender), Altiverb, Melodyne, MOTU 24 I/O with Black Lion Mod.

I went back to 10.6.8.

Can't speak to most of your vast collection of plugs and VIs, but I can tell you from my own experience that Waves 7 and Komplete 7 are not compatible with Lion.

I started with a basic setup 2408 MK3 drivers, euphonix drivers, DP 7.24, Machfive 3, UAD2.. those all work in DP.. I haven't even tried loading all the others I have yet. Its going to be a while before things are back up to speed..

WTF I just installed it on anothr macbook and its fine.....

NI issued a bunch of updates recently that fix the Komplete 7 (and 6) instruments issues with Lion. They always ran in 32 bit mode, it was 64 bit that was broken.

You mean it works on one computer and not the other? Wow! This is a first! I've never heard of that happening before.

GOT IT!!!!!! Old MIDI driver files in the one computer but not the next. The only way I figured this out was to try to open Reaper, which always hung while loading MIDI resources. Zapped the old MIDI drivers and we're off.....
