Just bought a new Traveler Mk3. Loaded the most recent OSX drivers. The computer doesn't find the Traveler. It doesn't show up in Audio/MIDI setup or the Sound devices. The audio console app doesn't find the unit either. Tried it running off bus power and DC power, same result. Firmware is 1.02. I also have an 828mkii, and the computer recognizes that fine, so I know the drivers are installed and working.
I noticed that, when the Traveler boots up, it says "Machine Info not present". When I boot up into the firmware update mode, it gives the same message: "ALERT: Machine info not present" then it sits at the Trav mk3 Boot v1.00 screen on the unit and the firmware update app also never finds the unit.
Anyone know what that message means? Sounds like there's some problem with my Traveler Mk3 unit.

Re: Traveler Mk3: Machine Info Not Present
I had his last night.
In fact I'm having trouble with my Traveller Mk3 ever since I tried using the EQ on the 8 Adat inputs I have a drum kit coming in via.
Co-incidently my power adapter blew up yesterday also - it was giving off a high frequency sound and I have had to switch to bus power.
My unit keeps crashing due to CueMix fx I think.
