SHAKY FOUNDATION, also...intern or support in Princeton, NJ?
I'm so grateful to have discovered this wonderful group. I have much experience, even commercial success with DP, but recently moved East from LA and am becoming painfully aware of the cracks in my foundation now that I don't have my techie buddies right here with me. They've helped me some by phone, but there's nothing like in-person help and I can't seem to find it in the Princeton, New Jersey area. Any of you gurus in this area for hire or for intern? Also, wonder about any books that might help me with some of the basics behind the basics in the 1000 page DP 4 User Guide and Getting Started Guide. For example, I just did a recording that included MIDI and audio tracks. Everything's mixed, ready to bounce to disk, EXCEPT.....there's nothing recorded in the new stereo audio track I added and tried to record everything into. I think the Input and Output settings are correct, but perhaps not (although they register in the Audio Monitor). And days of combing through the User Guide and bending my LA friends' ears have not solved the problem. There's something very basic that I'm not doing, some basic theory I'm missing and I'm frustrated beyond words. Thank you for any references.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your reply! Just looked at your profile.......didn't know there was a Guitar Center in the area.....where? I got a lot of my equipment at Guitar Center in Los Angeles.
Please, let's talk! May I call you? (I'm new at this posting thing, so don't know whether this is going just to you or to the whole world, so I won't leave my phone # 'til I've figured that out)
Look forward to talking with you!
