I have a favor. Anybody who upgrades to Lion, could you report back if Sysex Librarian works?

http://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I suppose I could give up EDITING some of my hardware modules, but I'd hate to lose the ability to load banks into them, etc.

Bummer! Was hoping not to have to upgrade just yet. DP6 has been fine for me.

Here's something from the nice folks at Sweetwater:

Looks like the updates will be ongoing on this page.

Man-- that's brilliant of Sweetwater to even have a page like that, and no less brilliant of you to have posted it here. Many kind thanks!!

Looks like Lion is going to be a long slog.

Sounds like the new features and security updates are worth it, but I hate these major renovations.
I'm guessing about 11 months for it to get stable with all of the stuff I'm using.
Then there is the dreaded death of Rosetta.
So many cool apps that will evaporate.

Sorry for my complaints....

Onward to a bright future with Lion!
All is well

Isn't this the first time MOTU made a statement on compatibility?

Maybe things ARE changing up there.

One would hope!

I believe they've done it at the release of the last few OS updates at least. If I recall correctly.
However, MOTU seem to be a little bit more open and active lately!

Using Lion, I just fired up Digital Performer 6(which MOTU said wouldn't work) through my firepod(which presonus said wouldn't work) and laid down some vocals. Everything was fine!

Yeah...DP 7.23 works as well..as I've said earlier..up to a point..there's strange random
error messages, inability to use AAF or OMF properly...(It won't import either format)
So..it Kind of works would be more appropriate...

For me it is..I've always been able to import aaf's and omf's before
this..
I never had error messages that would completely disallow import..

I've installed Lion on my MacBook Pro and DP seems to work fine (it was authorized in SL). The good thing is my NI apps all work as they load in 32 bit. Waves plugs all work, as do PSP, Ezy Drummer, Zebra, Play 3, all Spectrasonics, among others. I haven't tried AAF or OMF. I also haven't tried bouncing to disc.

Thanks!
5.13 and 6.03 work fine for me except for some of my VIs. It needs to be installed and verified under 10.6.8 first, then upgraded to Lion.
