Thanks for the info. You say DP 5 is not "officially" supported by Snow Leopard, does it run "unofficially" in a limited fashion? I'm currently running DP 5 on my Power PC G5, pre intel chip, Mac and after looking at how everything else in SL runs so much faster and smoother is it possible that even under limited compatibility it would still run faster? Let me take this one step further, am I at risk by trying it? Thanks for your wisdom!

You need to upgrade to DP 5.13 (I don't remember why but you do) It runs pretty well. in 10.6.x on an Intel machine.

You may have to install Rosetta for some of your plugins to work but Dp 5.13 itself is a Universal app.

True, it is no longer supported but that's true on any platform under any OS.

I looked it up. 5.13 is required for it to work in 10.5.x (Leopard). 5.11 won't work until you upgrade. You have to run 5.12 installer first, then 5.13 - both are available from the Downloads page for registered users.

Here are the 5.13 release notes:

http://cdn-data.motu.com/downloads/dp/N ... P_5.13.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you change hard drives or switch the installed position, you will need to have your original install disk and key code handy; not necessary if just updating a working copy otherwise.
