...I have been trying to configure nuendo 3 direct monitoring with my motu pci424 + 2408mkII and no success,
this is what i have done:
- install drivers for pci424,
- install pci424
- open nuendo and in vst driver select "motu pci asio" driver, and check the "direct monitoring" box....
- Just for testing I set the "Samples per buffer" in the "motu pci audio console" to 2048
but...
- i plug a mic in channel 1, send it trough "control room mixer" to Studio 1 (out 3).
- externally plug out 3 to in 2
- then record channel 1 and 2 and theres a lot o latency, but when I dissable the "monitor button" and open "motu pci cuemix console" and send in1 to out 3 and record... theres practically no latency, so the problem must be in nuendo set-up....
I dont understand wheres the problem, when trying to use direct monitoring, I close the "motu pci cuemix console" with every channel muted, all faders up...
When i set up the Studio monitors in nuendo the cuemix dsp console doesnt change, the faders and mutes remain as i left them..
