thanks for the links.

having been aware of john for many years, i'm not quite sure how to interpret this interview. he's certainly honest but there is a fair amount of bitterness to him now.
mac pro 2.66 quad, 7gb RAM, 10.4.10, dp5.13, M5v2.01, kontact3, reason4, ivory, addictive drums, BFD2, ocean way drums, stylus, altiverb, speakerphone, gearbox, EWQLSO platinumXP, apogee ensemble, izotope ozone, liquid mix, imposcar, vintage neves, UA 1176's...yada yada yada.

Yea, your right but he's older and being older myself and still having passion for making music with all that's gone on can really be a bummer.

I agree that he should have more faith in technology though.
MP3's will eventually bring in good bucks to artists. It's really new.

I feel labels should be releasing music in compatible 5.1 at 96k on DVD and start the 'hi end' sound revolution again.
