About time we had a DP9 wishlist then...Dwetmaster wrote:It was out the very first morning that DP7 got out.timriley wrote:I can feel a DP8 wishlist coming on...
Ah, THAT word again.Klaus wrote:...unusable...
Klaus, I went back and read that thread. It seems that you are using Cuemix. Are you sure that the problem is with DP? It could be a Cuemix bug. Also, 2:1 sounds awfully suspicious. Could be a routing problem. I don't use Cuemix, so I can't verify, but I've had no problems of this nature with DP 7.James Steele wrote:Ah, THAT word again.Klaus wrote:...unusable...

Imagine, having setup a rec monitor mix, then recording, then playing back what was recorded, at completely different levels, as I said,
each track will be 2:1 louder, i.e. instead playing at -20 dB, it plays at -10dB, isn't this unusable ?
I would like to *not* use Cuemix FX when recording...
...and I think I noted that this bug shows regardless of using Cuemix FX or not, and I also noted that there is absolutely *no* double routing / monitoring via Cuemix FX going on.
This bug was confirmed here also

If someone with a 896mkIII could test and confirm this is not true, I'm open to learn and adjust my rig. Tests with other mkIII interfaces are welcome too, to narrow down...
Thanks
and best to all
Klaus
Maybe so. I guess we have to deal with it until it's fixed. It sounds incovenient, as hassle, a PITA. "Unusable?" I dunno... YMMV.Klaus wrote:JamesJames Steele wrote:Ah, THAT word again.Klaus wrote:...unusable...

I'm sorry...I thought this was funny as h@#$.Prime Mover wrote:It often introduces some phunky phasing phun. So if you want to get your phill of phantastic phasaliciousness, turn that phucker right on!
If not, either turn audio monitoring off in DP or mute CueMix.

Just upgrade them on the Waves site, but don't install them. They'll create your Waves Cloud Account so they'll be ready when you need them. Your V8 stuff will still work off the iLok - you don't have to surrender a license or anything. Check with Waves if you have any questions.nightwatch wrote:I need DP8 to hurry up and bring it's 64-bit self out because my Waves WUP is about to expire. .. tapping nervously..
