Yeah...too bad AVTransfer was declared "End-of-Life" and Fairlight announced a week ago (11.13.2010) they have ceased development. ugh!

My ways to import OMF files are to try older versions of DP. Yesterday found out that I had to dig my old G4 and DP4 to get OMF imported properly. Of course I start with DP7, but if I have to, then 6, 5, 4 and 3 is still in te box...
Long time ago I used also old Nuendo as omf tool, import and export thru it, then DP4.
Nowadays I have Logic 8 which handles that part too if needed. Import OMF into Logic, export as AAF to DP... :shake:

OMF as a standard should be dumped into the deepest swamp and then invent new and better standard to replace it. :smash: Anyone knows if is this already happening?
