I just downloaded the DEC 2010 issue of Mix Magazine as a PDF, and in it there is a fascinating article (starting on p. 32) about the recording sessions for "Double Fantasy", with so many anecdotes you could make a movie based on it!
I think the most heartening comment though, was Douglas saying Lennon was the easiest and most relaxing person he'd ever worked with. He also talks about some unique miking techniques that Lennon employed, that he'd never seen before (or since).

Last night(11/22)on PBS they aired Lennon NYC.It included a bunch of great stuff with Jack Douglas and MANY others.The details about his deportation fight is quite amazing to say the least.
